Panic Attack! Art in the Punk Years exposes the vibrant visual art scene that emerged during the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s at a time when Britain and America was a breeding ground for a new radical culture – punk.

TOPY? Temple Ov Psychick Youth was a TG / Psychic TV extension.. . same people: Genesis P:Orridge, Peter Christopherson, & love.. .
This isnot to say that America had no part in it, but TOPY sounds like wrong example to me. Or maybe I just misunderstood.. .

America never claimed to be anything more than propper friend for what you say is some your own.. . If anything, they made this dirtier & more fucked-up.. .
Don’t discount TOPY.

I’ll let you know when America was ever a ‘breeding ground for ‘punk” in the late 70s. they’re were a some good things, but for most episode, Britain OWNED New Wave. Ramones were good up until they released their capitalist, sellout 3rd LP, but even then the loves of the Damned took formula to entirely another galaxy.
Name one USA band who could even touch anything like TG, or the Fall.
im not British; I’m American, incidentally.
