SITE LINK:news.ninemsn.com.au Dexter Isaac, an inmate doing life in prison for murder, admitted to being hired to shoot Tupac in 1994. Isaac says James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond paid him $2500 to do the job. So who is this Jimmy guy? He’s a hip hop mogul and CEO of Czar Entertainment, which manages Sean Kingston. He turned himself into the authorities in May for drug charges, and named Isaac in a statement defending himself and proclaiming his innocence. Isaac released a statement saying “In 1994, James Rosemond hired me to rob 2Pac Shakur at the Quad Studio. He gave me $2500, plus all the jewelry I took, except for one ring, which he wanted for himself. It was the biggest of the two diamond rings that we took. He said he wanted to put the stone in a new setting for his girlfriend at the time, Synthia Ried. I still have as proof the chain that we took that night in the robbery.” So why is he coming forward 17 years later? He said he wanted to give Tupac and Biggie’s families some piece of mind. Gee thanks. Today would have been Tupac’s 40th birthday. May he rest in peace. Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971 — September 13, 1996), also known by his stage names: 2Pac, Makaveli, or simply Pac, was an American artist renowned for his rap music, movie roles, poetry, and his social activism. Cliff ‘Em All is a compilation of video footage released as a tribute to Metallica’s late bassist Cliff Burton. Its title is derived from Metallica’s first album, Kill ‘Em All. Burton was killed in a tour bus accident on September 27, 1986, at the age of 24, near Ljungby, Sweden during the European leg of their Damage Inc. tour. The homevideo contains also a performance with Dave Mustaine on March 19, 1983, shortly before his release for heavy drugs and alcohol abuse. The video is a retrospective on the 3 and a half years that Cliff Burton was in Metallica, presented as a collection of bootleg footage shot by fans, some professional filming and TV shots that were never used and some of his best bass solos, personal photos and live concerts. Photos and narrations by the band (Ulrich, Hetfield and Hammett drinking beer) are placed between songs which focus on Burton before fading into a title card of a performance. The video ends with the melodic interlude of “Orion” as pictures of Burton are shown. With this video, the band tries to show the unique personality and style he had. While ostensibly the film focuses on Burton, it also has given fans a rare glimpse of Metallica’s less-documented early career. This contrasts sharply with the ‘Metallica business’ represented in the feature film Some Kind of Monster. Detroit, April 4, 1986 – “supporting Ozzy” Shot from the left of the stage.
