after 4 long years of battling cancer, my kuya frank, 42 years old, who is also my godfather– passed away just last week on oct 6, 2010. he was given 2 months to live 3 weeks ago, but is now resting in peace with God above. this song is dedicated to kuya frank and his wife ate rhea. although he knew he was going before her, i feel like this song was his song to her. about him following her into the dark– or wherever she may go. and to their son lil frankie, can’t wait for you to grow up so i can share stories with you about your dad, i, and ur uncle rb. love and miss you kuya frank, thanks for teaching me that there’s more to being a godson than filipino family parties and money. tell my dad i said hello and i miss him tremendously. hope you enjoy the song. tell the people you love that you love them, you may not get another chance. life is short, spend it with your family and friends =) free download here: files.me.com AJ song by Death Cab for Cutie @ajrafael facebook.com 2nd channel: youtube.com check me out on iTunes

Presented by Terry Wogan UK360 brings you the best and most inspirational community stories about initiatives and projects that are making a difference at a local level in communities across the country. Catch episode seven for more people powered change. In North Yorkshire, a group of eighty villagers and ninety of their friends have set up the Hudswell Community Pub co-operative. The George and Dragon, which stood empty for almost two years, is back as a centre of social life for the village. Not only this but the land at the rear of the pub has been developed into community allotments and there is a village library in the pub too! In Merseyside, a group of secondary school pupils and their inventive teacher have designed a habitat box that accommodates both bats and birds, now successfully selling over 1000 boxes to organisations up and down the country. UK360 found out why the Savy Bat or bird box project has proven so successful and why many people, including members of the royal family, are fans of this intriguing social enterprise. Two people affected by pancreatic cancer set themselves the extraordinary challenge to swim the Southampton Solent, run around the Isle of Wight and swim back again in just three days. Their aim is to raise over £25000 for an Early Cancer Detection Scanner for Southampton General Hospital. UK360 joined the Great Wight Attack team in the lead up to the big day. When the old Darnall post office in Sheffield closed unexpectedly, residents

Sydneysider Kristian Anderson, 35, has been having chemotherapy since he was diagnosed with cancer in October 2009. He made the video for his wife of seven years, Rachel, as a birthday present and a thank-you for her support. The video features cameos by New Zealand Prime Minister John Key — since Rachel is a Kiwi — and Hugh Jackman, who appeared in the video after Kristian asked Triple M’s The Grill presenter Gus Worland for help. socraticmama.com [Inspiration & Support for Secular Families] 2006: Hitchens at DGWills Books, 7461 Girard Avenue, La Jolla, Ca. 92037 www.vanityfair.com Vanity Fair In Memoriam: Christopher Hitchens, 1949–2011, by Juli Weiner, Dec 15th 2011. Christopher Hitchens—the incomparable critic, masterful rhetorician, fiery wit, and fearless bon vivant—died today at the age of 62. Hitchens was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in the spring of 2010, just after the publication of his memoir, Hitch-22, and began chemotherapy soon after. “My chief consolation in this year of living dyingly has been the presence of friends,” he wrote in the June 2011 issue. He died in their presence, too, at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. May his 62 years of living, well, so livingly console the many of us who will miss him dearly —— Christopher Eric Hitchens (born 13 April 1949) is an Anglo-American author and journalist whose books, essays, and journalistic career span more than four decades. He has been a columnist and literary critic at The Atlantic, Vanity Fair, Slate, World Affairs, The Nation, Free Inquiry, and became a media fellow at the Hoover Institution in September 2008. He is a staple of talk shows and lecture circuits and in 2005 was voted the world’s fifth top public intellectual in a Prospect/Foreign Policy poll. He’s known for his admiration of George Orwell, Thomas Paine, and Thomas Jefferson and for his excoriating critiques of, among others, Mother Teresa
