Another Lego ‘Bots heat, as asked for by lots of people. However, only half the robots in this heat are actually made of lego! I’ll put up Part 2 tomorrow if I get the time to. There’s a wonderful line in Battle 2, when Killalot is holding Bug on the flames “you can’t see them really”! Makes my Dad laugh every time!

Hey everyone! Eae here once again to take out probably the most FRUSTRATING Maverick of X5…. Squid Adler’s stage starts with another bike segment. The controls seem to handle a bit more unusual than X4, at least in my opinion, but the path I laid out in the video should suffice. Afterwards, Squid Adler’s stage consists primarily of puzzles. You need to fire at the switches until they become locked into their respective sockets. Once they are, the door will open ahead of you and you can continue onward. Soon after, there will be two colored switches and you’ll need to activate both almost simultaneously in order to go through. The only other thing to watch out for is the electric traps that can sometimes speed up into you and the purple enemies that you can only attack when they try to attack you. Just don’t smack into the switches until they’re pushed in and you should be fine. And then there’s Squid Adler himself. You want to be quick with your trigger finger in the first phase and play a game of jump rope, avoiding the blue orbs and the lightning bolts. Shoot him quick enough while dodging his attacks to get him down to 2/3′s life. This will cause him to do his second phase where he’ll begin to electrify the ground. He’ll also begin to levitate slowly towards you, turning this whole rest of the battle into a game of cat and mouse. You need to stay a good distance away from him while dodging the orbs and lightning bolts. The orbs will damage you while they’re moving …
