Written by alex on Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 in Shyness.

Sometimes I think that I cant live without a love A killer who needs you ? Some other night I feel the call of paranoïa Hey killer where are you ? I need to feel that I bélong to my desire Like Freud or De Sade And when the moon awakes in me a burning fire I ride a new empire Amore ama mi My assassino youre the one for me My assassin amore ama mi And only you know what it means to me All my power disappears when Im with you All my shyness is now vanishing away Youre the lover holding me in every way Youre the killer I wanted Its a kniffe cutting me deep when Im with you All my life becomes s sin when I see you Doctor Freud said I shoud ride my fantasies Youre the killer I wanted REFRAIN Wish I could hit you with a fantasy of flowers But youre holding my hands My taboos crumble when I see lust in your eyes I wont make a sound Tonight for you will be the most exhausting ride Get rid of my pride I spread my heart with sweet honey and burn some incens Youll drink from my veins REPEAT

Perpetual celibates (also known as involuntary celibates, incels, or love-shys) are those who suffer the worst from today’s dating game, and need to be helped. Here I describe how these men suffer, and the causes perpetual celibacy. Be sure to check out part two also – a proposed meta-societal solution.

Please turn on the speech bubble annotation button to see the corrections. Last updated January 10, 2011. I think this is pretty funny, so I translated it Moran’s camera shyness and silly talks 8D Original video posted by otoiro (thank you!) This is actually my first attempt on translation, so the subs are not always accurate. If you find something that can be improved, feel free to post comments with the corrections ^^ .

What it’s like – Social Phobia

Written by alex on Sunday, May 6th, 2012 in Shyness.

My experience talking about going to a Beignets shop (drive-thru no less) to buy something where I’ve never been before. I had taken some medication and wasn’t all that nervous while doing it, but that really didn’t fully stop the reality that is me. I probably should have combed my hair before making this, but I don’t feel like redoing it all over just for that.

Fear of not having anything worthwhile to say

Modesty in Islam is known as haya, a word which describes both shyness and a deeper modesty that is based on faith. A sense of haya should affect a Muslim’s conduct before God, before others and even when one is alone. In the Holy Qur’an, God says: “O children of Adam, We have provided you with garments to cover your bodies, as well as for luxury. But the best garment is the garment of righteousness. These are some of God’s signs, that they may take heed.” (Al-A`raf 7:26) Shaykh Abdullah Hakim Quick wasborn in the United States of America and accepted Islam in Canada in 1970. He pursued his study of Islam at the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia where he graduated and received an Ijaza from the College of Da’wah and Islamic Sciences in 1979. He later completed a Masters Degree and a Doctorate in History at the University of Toronto in Canada. For three years, he was a regular columnist in the Religion page of Canada’s largest paper, the Toronto Star as well as a special advisor to the Royal Ontario Museum and the Ontario Science Centre. Shaykh Abdullah has served as Imam, Daa’ee, teacher and counselor in the USA, Canada, the West Indies and South Africa. He has traveled to over 58 countries on lecture, research and educational tours. Presently he is Director of the Discover Islam Centre in Cape Town, South Africa as well as a Senior Lecturer at Discover Islam’s Institute.
