This song almost perfectly describes selective mutism, which is a social/speech anxiety disorder that affects about 1 in 150 children. It causes a child (or more rarely, adult) who talks and behaves normally at home, sometimes one who talks more than anyone else, to freeze up and have trouble communicating, especially speaking, at school or other places. It’s usually misinterpreted as defiance or shyness but is actually extreme anxiety. Paul McCartney apparently didn’t know about selective mutism but did know a girl who had it. Storyline: (apologies 2 Ada and Ashley fans) (not all of the lyrics match this vid, unless u count Ada and/or Ashley playing games lol) Ada and Ashley are fighting over Leon and he finds it very annoying. While trying to avoid them, he meets up with Fiona and is taken by her in 1st sight. He wants to know her better and she too has feelings for him but her shyness always gets the best of her whenever she comes into contact with him. It doesn’t help when Ada and Ashley keep mocking her. He sees Ashley trying to start on Fiona and he decides to defend her. Ashley runs away, unhappy with what Leon is saying to her. Ada is unimpressed and tries to hurt Fiona, pushing her off an edge. Leon didn’t know how she fell, but Luis (a good friend of Leon) saw Ada push her. He tries to confront her about it but can see Ada doesnt really care. So he tells Leon what happened. Leon tries to confront Ada but gains no sign of remorse from her. He makes it clear to her that he doesnt want her. Leon finds Fiona, relieved she is ok and tells her that he wants her… not Ashley… not Ada… Hope u like this emory98! Enjoy every1!!
