I was at a low point in my life and knew I needed to make a change. I decided to become a firefighter. The agility test required in the hiring process forced me to make that change a reality. I began by dieting as a pescatarian to cut weight. Once I was hired and in the academy I wanted to make the most of my new found healthy lifestyle. I stuck to my diet and did physical training at the academy daily. On days off I ran.
