Skin Care Routine

By alex on May 28th, 2010 in Skin Care.

makeup remover cleanser toner AHA BHA Retin A Acne Anti Winkle Creams Don’t forget to check the pH of liquid exfoliants. Remember no true wrinkle cream exists that will get rid of wrinkles, if they did no one would have wrinkles and botox/fillers/face lifts, etc…would be out of business. Don’t buy bottle antioxidant creams/lotions/serums as they are effected by light and you’ll end up throwing your money way.

Is there anything you can use to reduce or eliminate milia’s (white heads). I have lots just beneath my eyebrows. If it was just few I’d have dermatologist remove them by lansing them but I have so many. your films are amazing. Thank you for all good makeup & skin care tips.

    Hello!

I work for dermatologist and moisturizers not great for acne-prone skin, same thing with hair conditioner: don’t use them on bangs or near the hairline, just near the ends of the hair. Cutting back on dairy products can be helpful also.

love you’re movies! I work for dermatologist, & you’re right about not putting moisturizers on acne-prone skin. Also don’t use hair conditioner near hairline or bangs; this can cause breakouts. Cutting back on dairy products may be helpful, also.

What does Retin & Hydrogen Peroxide cancel out.. . . lol.. . it was bit too fast.. I dint get it..

Vitamin and C are super antioxidants if you ingest them. Systemically they work.

If applied topically? NO, it works about as well as taping an aspirin to some your forehead to get rid of headache. of course manufacturers are going to bank on the studies but not tell you the following text of study, they just quote results then push product.

    Good conversational video,

    Thanks

I think oily skins need lotion. high chance of acne is because we do not wash our face, our skin gets dry, not drinking enough water & not eating right nutrions. I have really oily skin & my skin is acne prone & I figured out that drinking ALOT about water helps & even putting lotion on. Lotion IS important.

.. What would be the reason Hydrogen Peroxide would cause free radical damage?

From what I remember in science Hydrogen peroxide is nothing more that water (H2O) with an extra Oxygen (Peroxide

only thing I know about toners, is theyve are suppose to level the pH at skin, and by ‘tone’ they mean even-out skintone (which I can’t really tell). I use Dickinson Witch Hazel toner, so I will test that out.

As for SPF, yea this sucks. it can break you out, etc. However, Titanium & Zinc Oxide I heard are generally less prone to produce breakouts. But then again, that’s what I’ve listen.

    Hope this helps.: )

I for real do not like Benzoyl Peroxide at all.. . it can work, but it irritates.

I completely agree about the make up remover.

Until a few months ago, I didn’t use a good make up remover.

Then I noticed small amount bumps.

Someone told me It’s cause I didn’t remove my make up thoroughly so I now use lotion with cotton pads, then a oil makeup remover from SK-II.

    The bumps gone!

I think Its cause skin can now breathe or absorb skin care better.

    XOXO
